Dear Valued Advertiser,

As the new publisher, I want to personally thank you for your business.  We are directly tied to the performance of our advertisers and our community, and this has been a challenging year for many. When you sneeze, we catch a cold too. When you smile, we smile.

Our goal is to make you smile this year.  Here are some of the ways how:

• In early 2008, we have rolled out the Customer Advantage Program, which will allow you to more easily buy our newspapers and online offerings with a few simple clicks, and you receive discounts when you buy.
• Currently, our “integrated audience,” which means the people who view our newspaper in print and online is growing, upwards of 2%, according to the latest release by the Audit Bureau of Circulation and Scarborough Research.
• In March, we will once again field our Advertiser Satisfaction survey, where we hope to learn more about how to serve you better. If there is something you think we can change or improve, please contact our Executive Director of Advertising Andrea Lynn or General Manager Dave Neill or me. We are available to you 7 days a week. I carry a pda with me which allows me to check my email during my awake hours, and you should always feel free to reach me on my cell. I can’t promise I will be able to solve every issue after hours, but I can promise that you can reach someone.
• For up-to-date information you can always go to our advertiser Web site, ndnadvertising.com. We created this site for you, in response to what you had to say in our 2007 Advertiser Satisfaction Survey. It’s filled with advertising information and special offers and is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
• We have just unveiled our e-Paper and e-tearsheets for the Naples Daily News. This means you and our readers can view an electronic edition of the full newspaper, in addition to all of the extra features that exist at naplesnews.com. Although this will result in increased viewing of your advertisement, you will not pay any more than you currently do. You can easily obtain an electronic copy of the page with your ad(s) and even have an email link sent to remind you.
